Teaching adults how to dance
Lynda King Dance has been teaching people to dance for 40 years. I believe that nobody has two left feet. Absolutely anyone can learn to dance and enjoy their lives more, by socialising and meeting new people and making new friends. You can improve your coordination and fitness levels too. I am a Fellow & Examiner of the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) as well as a licensed adjudicator for the British and World Dance Sport Councils and I'm often involved with dance on an international level. Choose from a range of classes or 1-2-1 lessons and start dancing today.
Although I no longer run children's classes, many former pupils still recommend my dance school to their family and friends.
I am also a co-author and author of several dance books and technical publications and serve on technical faculties within the IDTA. I have trained many teachers to gain their professional qualifications both in the UK and overseas. I also received a Carl Alan Award in 2015 (the Oscars of the dance world) and held the highest level of office as IDTA President from 2015-2016. I enjoy teaching at all levels, especially beginners. Dancing can be an excellent way to keep fit in both mind and body. For some people, it is also an opening for achieving a new way of life.
